Remembering September
Another thought for the day is when daddy was working in Canada and the girls and I were on the rode for over an hour every day. My life was so much easier when I didn't get up in time and had to take Hunter all the way to school. Our morning conversations consisted of Knock-knock jokes that had the word, "poo" or "poo poo" in them. That word makes everything funny.
Group Hug.
Another thing that happened this week was Sophia. She is so funny, she is always making me laugh by the things she says. She is in a habit of saying "I love you." And it always seems to be right when I start yelling. "I love you mom." Well, one time out of the blue she came up and gave me a hug, then daddy a hug then both of us a hug. While we were hugging she explains "That is called a group hug."
How we are made
Today being sunday we attended church. We actually were there early. Shocker, I know. Jimmy and I sang in the choir, which was fun. After practice today and the kids and the phone calls.... Jimmy and I drew straws and he won. He won't be singing in the choir for our Christmas program. My story today is short and sweet. Jayden was sitting next to daddy and asked how we were made. He turned to me and I explained that we are created in Heavenly Father's image and in His likeness. He then told her, I added that we look like him. She looked up at him and said He has brown hair. I saw Jesus in my mind and he has brown hair, just like me. Isn't she just the sweetest thing in the whole wide world?

Sick
We have a house full of sickies. Kirby is the one who brought it into our home then Hunter then, yes, me. Sophia isn't feeling well, and Jayden has a cold. Then I tried to make these cookies, well they turned out to be from hell. I think part of the flour I used was rancid.
So tonight we are sending Hunter back to Kirby's mom's house to spend the night there. Maybe send it back there. (The sickness that is.)
Today I had to take Sophia to the Doctor for her 3 year check up. She ended up getting shots. The nurse said "It won't hurt." I say " It Will hurt, but only for a second." She slammed the needle in her arm and Sophia started crying. Then here comes the second one. SLAM. She was the worst ever. Poor Sophia told her dad later that she went to the "giwl goctor" was mean.
She didn't want me to help her out of the Van because her arm hurt. She didn't want me to touch her arm. Poor thing.

Basketball
Today was Hunter's first basketball game. It was so fun to go watch them. At this age it is more of a learning experience. The ref called a lot of double-dribble's on the other team the first half. The second half was more traveling calls, on the other team. Hunter's coach is Rick Russell. He is coaching the 3rd grade boys and the his daughters team. I think she is 5th grade. He is very good for Hunter because he is "strict". The practicing has paid off for them, they are pretty good little players. I didn't have my camera because we are having issues w/our client up in Northport, WA. She is in and out and up and down and all around. I think they finally have found a rehab center in Kirkland, Wa that will take her. Over $10,000 later. That is for the 28 day rehab. But what is happening at her place with all her wolf dogs is that they have escaped. They have killed a Llama and there is a suite filed against her now. Long story....
The Birthday Blues
November 1st was Aunt Perri's b-day. Me and the girls called her and they were so excited for her b-day party. Jayden had found a "coupon" for her birthday gift. It was a $10 off if you spend $50 or something like that. She carried it around all day asking when we were going to get her present. About half way through the day I realized that I wasn't going to make it to Toy R Us. I tried gently to let them down and they both started crying. They are in a phase that whatever Jayden wants Sissy wants and whatever Jayden does sissy does. But these were real genuine tears. It is November 6th and they are still asking when Aunt Perri is coming. That is what I told them when I was letting them down oh so gently. I said that Aunt Perri will come and visit us and we can celebrate her birthday when she comes and visits.
