Down with Book Fairs
This week there has been a book fair at Hunter's school. Last night he brought home a wish list- a list of the books he wants. He had help writing the list because they marked exactly where the books are. Hunter wants 6 books =$52.60. I don't think so. I have two bookshelfs full of books. I am all for books and reading but come on! I can't imagine when all my kids get in school and they all want 6 books. I have decided that I would let him pick one book. Am I being unreasonable?

whoa $50.00?-you are absolutely not being unreasonable. I might not even let him get any and take a trip to the library and tell him he can read more than 6 for free:)
ReplyDeleteI agree with ness. I probably wouldnt get him any. I'm at the library now. That's the way to go.
ReplyDeletethat is what we do - ONE book. My kids would like me to had over the money so that they can pick whatever book they want but I go with them and help them pick. It is really quite crazy!
